Elephants on Road

The Circus is in town again. Their train arrived and parked along the railway track across the street from our apartment yesterday morning.

As with previous years, the elephants and horses would have to make their way to their performance venue on foot. They got off the train and walked on the roads all the way to the TD Bank North Garden. It is always so exciting to see the elephants go by.

After our early dinner, we put on our coats and waited along Massachusetts Avenue for the elephants.

Here came the policemen on their big motorbikes ahead of the elephants to direct traffic.

And there came the elephants...

And the horses...

Other circus crew handed out red clown noses to people who had come down to see the elephants. Justin, Sonya and Clara each got one. I was too busy taking photos I think and didn't get one :(

We got the tickets and will be going down to watch the show on Friday night. More photos then :)
