Sweet Potato Puffs

Clara had her first taste of the Gerber sweet potato puffs yesterday and she likes it very much :)

Ballet Class

I enrolled Sonya in a dance class at the Fresh Pond Ballet. Coincidentally, Heather also signed Elizabeth up for the same class. They had their first lesson this morning and they both loved it. The parents had a lot of laughs too from watching them through the small little window :)

Dancing Queens

We resumed playgroup yesterday afternoon. Alexia has left Westgate and Ryo was on vacation and so there were only Sonya, Kanon and Elizabeth. Nevertheless, they had great fun playing dress-up :)


I also put Clara in a pink dress for the Westgate Chinese New Year party after the playgroup. We went to the playroom to wait for Justin to return from work.

Market Basket

Saturday is usually our grocery shopping day but since we had so much to do today, we thought we split up and get more things accomplished.

We got a Fisher Price swing for Clara free from Craigslist. It will be more comfortable for Clara to sleep in it than the other Graco swing.

After that, Justin brought Sonya to Chuck E Cheese's while I brought Clara to Market Basket. This is the first time I put Clara in the seat of the shopping trolley. Overall, the shopping went quite well. She was happy but I was getting restless with the queue at the cashier :( Maybe now that she can sit in the trolley, I can go grocery shopping on weekdays again when it is less crowded.

I went to Target yesterday and saw these shirts at only $1.98 each and so I bought one for Sonya and one for Clara :)

It is just impossible to get Clara to sit still now that she crawls :)

Soccer Fun

We bought Sonya a kiddie computer for her 3rd birthday. Everyday, she would "check email" like us and lately she has added "sonya.com" :)

She is beginning to recognise a lot of the letters in the alphabet and can even remember what letters there are for her name but also in Justin's and my names. But, she still spell her name as "S O N A - Sonya"

As for Clara, she gets more and more curious everyday and wants to get her hands and feet on everything. Today, I put her in her playpen and Sonya was playing her computer next to the playpen. Look how interested Clara was with the computer and tried to get it :)

Crawling Clara

Clara can really move around now. It may not seem much when you sit and wait for her to move but when you are not looking and when she sees something that she wants to get her hands on, she moves real fast!

Happy New Year

We went driving again on Sunday and was on Route 2 at Fitchburg when I saw this great big sign that says "Singapore". We turned in and it turned out that it is a Chinese restuarant. We were thinking that maybe we can have dinner there that night but changed our minds since it didn't really look appealing. But there you go! Singapore in Massachusetts :)


Clara's fringe is getting long so I used a hair clip to clip it up. She looks pretty different with the hair up, don't you think?





It was rather quiet at preschool last week since many of the families were away for the holidays but there were still plenty of interesting activities for those present. Look at them doing some finger painting.



This is a shot of the Charles River with the Boston skyline in the background. It is amazing how the river surface is all frozen and when more snow falls, it gets hard to tell where is the river bank.
