Halloween Party at Morse

Our second halloween party for the day was at Morse School. It was from 2.30pm to 4.30pm but we had to wait till Clara woke up from her afternoon nap before we could go. By the time we got there, it was already 4.00pm. Nonetheless, as you shall see from the photos, Sonya and Clara had a great time, especially with the face painting.

There was the best costume contest when we got there and it was the pre-school category. Clara readily went to take part without any hesitation.

No, she did not win but got a candy for taking part :)

The girls did some crafts that was laid out on the table before realizing that there was face painting at the next table.

Clara decided she wanted to have a blue sea and fishes on her face. It was quite hilarious. She looked like she was going to audition for Blue Man.

Sonya decided that she wanted to have a red butterfly like her friend, Bjarney. Wondering what was distracting her when she was doing her face painting?

The other kids were waiting for a turn to hit the DIY pumpkin pinata.

Scary or cute? You decide :)

Halloween Party at Kids' Coop

Our 2-day Halloween madness started this morning with Sonya wearing a DIY crazy hat to school. After that, it was off to the Kids' Coop for Clara. Clara and the other kids did their usual stuff till 11am when they had their Halloween Party. It was pretty fun as most of the children and their parents came in costumes. There was food and crafts. One of the mothers, Vicky, even brought her guitar and led everyone in a great sing-a-long.

Great party and in case you are wondering... Yes I did have a costume. Well, just a simple DIY one with a wreath on my head and autumn leaves and butterflies on my shirt. I was thinking Autumn Fairy thingie without the wings. Sorry no photo :)
