Summer Family Fun Day

Went to the Summer Family Fun Day at the field behind the Peabody School yesterday. Sonya and Clara had a lot of fun jumping around in the bounce houses.

Face painting always makes them really happy :) But I wondered what paint they were using because it stained Clara's cheek. Still a faint mark today...

Clara didn't like being squeezed out by the bigger kids :)

A fire engine parked outside the park and made many kids happy with a make shift sprinkler.

There was also Jenny the Juggler. We didn't stay for the whole show because it was just too hot!

Each kid even got to bring a new book home to read which I thought was really nice!

JFK Library & Museum

It was free admission last friday at the JFK Library and Museum.

After that, we went to the nearby beach where we had lunch and played on the beach for a while before it started to rain :(

We spent the rest of the afternoon at Cambridgeside Galleria shopping :)

New England Sand Sculpting Festival

Went to the Sand Sculpting Festival at Revere Beach last Saturday. After circling for a while, we were lucky to find street parking.

It was hot so we didn't stay too long. On our way back to the car, we stopped at some of the vendor stalls. One was Toys'R'Us and they were promoting Zhu Zhu Pets.

They even had a huge exercise wheel for the kids to run round like a hamster :)
