Clara is so much fun these days. She is crawling and standing and laughing and figuring things out by watching us and also experimenting herself. She watched us wave hi and goodbye and now she can do it herself! So cute :) She discovered that she could make funny sounds with her fingers and lips :)
Sonya had been asking for roti prata (yep, she is a Singaporean!) so I bought some from Super 88 and cooked them on Sunday. Here she is having her roti prata :) Sonya also found these clips that my mother bought some time ago and I put one on for her and one for Clara :)
I thought I try planting again so I went to Home Depot this morning and bought Sonya a pot of flowers for her and a pot of herbs for me. The flowers just need to be transplanted into a bigger pot which I had for my basil plant. The herbs needs to be grown from seeds. It is a kit which includes the pot, soil and seeds for 6 different herbs (basil, chives, thyme, parsley, cilantro & marjarom).
Keira and Eva, Sonya's friends from preschool, came over to our house to play this morning. It was not too cold so we went out to the playground for a while.
Charles is now 3 years old and we were invited to his birthday party at the Westgate Basement Lounge last evening. There were lots of games for the children to play.
This is Charles' brother, Eddy. Double the size of Clara and he is only 2 months older than her!
The theme for the birthday was Curious George so we got lots of little monkeys running around.
These bananas were supposed to be for a game but all the children wanted to keep the bananas for themselves and it ended a banana eating session!
This is Clara and Kei, Ryo's brother, who is 3 months younger than Clara.
All the children got so excited about Charles' birthday cake. They all wanted to blow the candles and then were fighting over the different parts of the monkey face :) They were so loud, Sonya got scared and ran to me instead.
After cake, it was finger painting before everyone washed up and went home.
