I helped with the face painting station at yesterday's Chile's Earthquake Relief at Westgate. I think I painted at least 15 kids' faces including Sonya and Clara. Clara was a tiger while Sonya asked for a pink butterfly.
I didn't have my camera with me. A big thank you to Erika for helping me take a photo of Sonya and Clara.
By the time we got home, most of the paint were smudged especially those on Clara's.
They both had a lot of fun playing and also snacking on cookies, brownies and cake.
Sonya asked if she could help me with the dishes a few days ago and I let her washed all the unbreakable ones. She has been asking for more ever since!
Only a 5 year old can be so happy with a sink full of dirty dishes.
Maybe I should get my own face painted and maybe then I might enjoy washing those dishes.
