Sonya's Japanese friend, Kanon, is back in town for a visit and it was great to meet up with her and her mum for lunch this afternoon. I had suggested that we go to the American Girl Bistro for lunch but I totally forgot about reserving a table. We ended up in the Cheesecake Factory next door which turned out great because it was National Cheesecake Day and all the cheesecakes were half off.
The girls warmed up to one another pretty quickly and they talking non-stop over lunch.
After lunch, I had to go to the Apple Store to replace my Apple Mighty Mouse again (This is like the 3rd or 4th time that I have replaced the mouse since I bought my computer 3 years ago) but we joined Kanon at the indoor play area at the mall after that. The girls spent the next 2 - 3 hours playing together.
We are having a second round of fun and laughter with Kanon tomorrow afternoon at the Boston Children's Museum :)
