Okie, it is not quite spelled correctly but I think it is a good try! She got the first 3 letters pretty nice :) Well, this is the end of the first week of preschool and Sonya really likes it there. I think she is coping well. She is still a little reluctant to go home but I think she is getting there :)
Brought Clara for her follow-up at the Children's Hospital. Dr Wolf (yes, it is really spelled like the animal) thinks that she is doing well and suggested that we half the Omeprazole dosage for a week and if she is fine, we can stop it altogether. Yeah! This is really good news because I hate to give her this medication. I think it doesn't taste nice like Simenthicone and 3ml is so much to swallow for a baby. Clara would cry so much every time I give her the medication. Hope she does fine without it.
Also, hopefully this is the last time we have to get Omeprazole or any medication that needs to be compounded at the MIT Pharmacy. Dr Henar actually sent in the prescription early in the morning and even though we went to collect it at 3pm, they have not prepared the medication. The counter staff told me it would only take 5 - 10 minutes but I waited for more than half an hour! This is simply ridiculous! I think it probably might have been faster at another pharmacy but we would have to pay the full amount first for the medication and then get reimbursed by MIT Insurance. Either way is a real pain. Getting blamed for nothing didn't help either!
