Photo with Santa

Photobucket

Inka and I embarked on yet another photographic project last Saturday to improve our photographic skills. This time, we volunteered to take photos for the kids with Santa at the Westgate International Holiday Party. We expected around 80 kids and in the end, we got 67 kids and a few adults as well :)

We got some really great photos and great feedback. Here are some photos of Inka, Lea and Jan besides those of my own family. I would want to include some of the other great photos as well but I guess I have sent so many emails out yesterday and today, I don't think anyone want to hear from me again asking for permission to publish their photos :)

This is my favorite photo of the day! Took this photo of Lea and Jan sharing a pack of goldfish crackers. This two poor little ones were stuck with us for almost 3 hours while we set everything up. Clara was having a nap and Sonya was doing her quiet activity at home with Justin.

Another very satisfactory photo of Inka just before Santa took his seat and started taking photos with everyone.

I am glad and a little surprised that both Sonya and Clara posed with Santa without either of them crying or struggling. I did bring out the photo of them with Santa two years ago at the Harvard Coop where they too didn't cry. Last year, Clara struggled and cried a little :)

It was quite a bit of work to get the whole thing going but in the end, it was lots of fun and a great learning experience :)
