Hooray for Baby Einstein!

Before bringing Sonya to preschool this morning, I kept telling her that she should not cry when I pick her up and she said, "Ok."

I bought a pair of jeans for Sonya at Target but it was too big and I went to exchange for a smaller pair today. While at Target, I went to the children's section and saw this Baby Einstein's Move and Go Music Mirror. I wanted a child mirror at the back of the car so that I can see what Clara is doing while I am driving. I thought this is just perfect since it is a mirror and it also has music and lights just like the baby gym we have at home. In addition, it has a remote that I can use to control the volume and the lights and music while driving. This might just be the entertainment that Clara needs to stop her crying in the car. I thought it was pretty expensive at $24.99 but bought it anyway. I set up all the bits and pieces in the car before I went to pick Sonya up and was eager to see if it works. Clara liked it pretty much when I used it to entertain her while at Target :)

When I reached the preschool, the children were listening to stories. Sonya saw me but she didn't seem very eager to see me like she did the previous days. The good thing was that she didn't cry. She sat on the floor and refused to move even though I said I will carry her. I told her it was time to go home and we would come again tomorrow and all the other children were also leaving. Valerie helped by telling her the same thing. Still she was reluctant until I told her about the new toy for Clara in the car. Finally, she moved and was excited about what the toy was like.

I gave her the remote and told her that she can use it to play music for Clara. She loves it! As for Clara, I think this new toy might just work. For once, I had a pleasant ride home without them crying much. Clara did cry a little when the car stopped but not like before. She later dozed off in the car.

If only everyday can be like that...
