It has been a pretty eventful weekend. Firstly, we have been watching the weather forecast to track Hurricane Kyle which traveled up north but missed Boston. It has been raining and raining since Friday. Nevertheless, it has been a weekend of non-stop action for us!
Sonya had a playdate at her friend's house after preschool on friday. Then later that evening, we went to Justin's friend's graduation party.
On Saturday, I brought Sonya and Clara to the Borders bookstore at Cambridgeside Galleria for a supposedly Kids' Party. I thought it was not really much fun but Sonya said it was. I guess as long as she said she had fun, it was good for me. I was just very tired from chasing Clara around and stopping her from taking all the books off the shelves.

There was coloring to do and games to play and of course, prizes and candies for everyone.

The busiest of the weekend was today. We started off with ballet for Sonya. Wait, what am I talking about? Today was all for Sonya! Anyways, we brought Sonya to ballet at 11.15am. Sonya told Justin that she was really sad that he didn't watch her dance the previous two lessons so he went today :) Clara was running all over the place as usual.

The good thing was that I have an extra pair of hands to watch Clara so that I can take some better photos of Sonya dancing :)

After a quick takeout lunch from MacDonald's, we dropped Sonya off at her friend, Keira's Princess Birthday Party. As the name suggested, it was only for girls and they all got to wear their princess costumes and pretend they were princesses. Actually, Sonya is convinced that she is a princess and got very upset when one of the boys in her preschool told her that she is not a princess :)

The girls got diamond rings from the party. Sonya's friend, Natalia, came home with us for a while before we went to yet another birthday party.

It is Alana's 4th birthday tomorrow :)

The moment we got into the house, Sonya passed the present to Alana and then I think Sonya just opened the present for Alana! Argh!

Alana's mum made chocolate cupcakes.

It has been a crazy but great weekend :)
