Nut Brown Ale

After 4 weeks of waiting, the Nut Brown Ale that I brewed myself is ready to be consumed. The smell of the beer was great during the brewing process but I was still a little skeptical as to whether it would taste good or not since it was my first attempt at beer brewing. We had our first taste at dinner yesterday. I thought it tastes great! Justin liked the taste too but he thought that it was not bubbly enough. He wondered if he capped the bottles tight enough to prevent the carbon dioxide from escaping. Hmmm...

As you can see from below, I just had to design a beer label to complete the look ;) But I am not going to print and cut out 50 labels. It is just too time consuming. In addition, the most tiring job in the brewing process was removing the labels from the old bottles and scrubbing them clean. So only the bottles that I am giving away will have labels :)

The beer bottles also provided me with an opportunity to try photographing transparent objects. See? It is not all about getting drunk with the beer! Cheers!
