I want to do!

It was a stomach bug weekend here over at our house, and maybe in many houses in Westgate. Sonya took the lead and was sick Friday night into Saturday. Clara had her turn on Sunday and I came in last on Monday. So we have been more or less stuck in the house taking turns getting sick.

In between all the nasty stuff, we did manage to decorate our window to welcome the Chinese New Year happening next weekend and I baked some pineapple tarts.

And then today, I let Sonya to do some vegetable cutting while Clara was taking a nap (she actually did after I explained to her that the reason why she was getting so upset over little things was because she was tired and she could play again after she woke up). Clara woke up just as Sonya was done and burst into tears when Sonya told her she was too young to handle the knife (sweet sister as usual). To pacify her, I got a butter knife and a string cheese for Clara to do some cutting of her own and the weather turned sunny again.

Sonya has totally recovered. Clara is a question mark because she seemed fine most of the time but she threw up after dinner last night and after lunch this afternoon. She is keeping her dinner tonight so far! I am feeling much better today but still kind of nausea.
