It is tradition for the whole family to gather for dinner on Chinese New Year's Eve. It is usually called Reunion Dinner (团圆饭) but in our case, it is kind of odd to call that since the four of us only separated from one another after lunch today so I will just call it Chinese New Year's Eve Dinner for now.

Been thinking what to cook for tonight's dinner for the past week. Finally decided yesterday that I will make steamed prawns with garlic and cellophane noodles, broccoli and baby corn with dried scallop sauce and deep-fried chicken wrapped in seaweed (Sonya's order!). Everything was very yummy if I may say so myself. Even Sonya and Clara who don't usually eat prawn ate some! I still wish I could be home eating my mum's cooking though :)

Off to prepare red packets () for Sonya and Clara tomorrow. I have also invite some of our friends over for a small Chinese New Year celebration on Monday afternoon. Happy Tiger Year!
