Went to Home Depot yesterday morning to find a 10 foot steady rod to support my sagging photography background paper and to Sonya and Clara's delight, found out that Home Depot was holding its monthly Kids Workshop. Yesterday's project was a Home Depot Fire Boat.

Each kit came with precut wood pieces and accents complete with nails and screws. Sonya and Clara, with help from me, assembled the boat using the hammers and screwdrivers provided by the store. The store also gave pliers to the parents to help steady the nails during the erractic hammerings.

They each got a Home Depot apron and a pin too.

Sonya and Clara really enjoyed the workshop and are already looking forward to the next month when they will be making a spice rack :)
