I'm 34

It's official. I'm 34 and getting closer to mid-30s. Got lots of birthday greetings from friends and family. My first present that day was a pimple just below my nose. Nice, right? Then the day got a lot better with 3 handmade cards from Sonya (Clara drew something too but you never know for sure if it was intended for you) before a birthday cake from Justin as the grand finale :)

We had sushi at home for dinner. I tried making some flower-shaped sushi using the sushi machine that my friends got for me as an early birthday present when I was in Singapore. The machine really is for kids but it is another cute Japanese toy that I just cannot resist :)

I bought these really neat Japanese chopsticks for Sonya and Clara. They were meant to help children learn to use chopsticks properly.

I almost forgot to mention that my mummy bought me a necklace as an early birthday present too when I was in Singapore. Thank you everyone for the wishes, cards, cake and presents!
