We finally released the butterflies into the "wild" 2 weeks ago when the weather got a little warmer.

Along the way, we invited some of our friends to join us :)

Sonya got to unzip the tent for the butterflies.

We waited but the butterflies didn't move.

Then I suggested that we tap on the tent to encourage them to fly.

After releasing the butterflies, we went to check on our garden plot. Sonya's sunflowers had started to bloom and she was really excited.

My bak choi and lettuce are growing pretty well too. Maybe we can start harvesting and eating them in a few weeks :)

After that, it was off to the playground. Clara tried on all the different "vehicles".

Sonya tried on her "new" bike that I got for free on Craigslist.

The tires were a little flat so Justin helped her pumped some air into them. He also fixed a pair of training wheels (which I also got for free from Craigslist) for her until she can ride without them.

Sonya's old tricycle is now Clara's :)

The girls with their bikes!
