Our annual pass to the Boston Children's Museum is expiring at the end of this month and we thought we better make a visit before it does. Sonya has been to the museum about 5 times since we have been in Boston. This is Clara's second time but she was too young to play much the previous time she was there.

This is the Arthur & Friends Section. It used to be one of Sonya's favorite characters but I think she prefers Dora and Diego now.















Clara and I waited outside while Justin and Sonya went into the Japanese House. We have been to to museum five times but this was our first time in the Japanese House. It was always closed when we visited.


There is a new exhibit called "Children of Hangzhou".

Sonya weighs 40lbs :)

Clara called the cow her usual "bear bear" for all animals. The cow had two punctures just above its neck. Hmmm... I wondered if there were Dracula was in the museum :)

There were chinese opera costumes to try on. We tried it on Clara but she didn't like it and was just as determined to take it off as we were to put it on. She won :)

Clara has always been quite a little drummer. She would drum with her hands and kick with her feet, anything to make some sound.



There was an area for children to try out Chinese calligraphy.





Then Sonya and Clara looked at a 3D photo of the panda bear.


Let's count the number of crackers they ate using the abacus :) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22.......


How about a game of chess?

Or a haircut?

Time to do some grocery shopping...

It was funny. All the plastic food looked so real that Clara thought they were real! She spit out her pacifier and said, "mum mum" and attempted to bite into a loaf of bread! hahaha...








Sonya tried the New Balance Climb for the first time. She was hesitant initially but in the end went through the structure twice :)
