Just when I thought I could trust Clara with a pair of scissors, I found 1/2 inch hair scattered around the floor and then a clump of 3 inch hair under the sofa. I threatened to shave off all her hair and there was a lot of tears.
No, the hair above is not from Clara's cutting. After the incident, we suggested to Sonya and Clara that maybe it is time for them to have a haircut again. Clara, still recovering from the incident, didn't really want a haircut initially but Sonya wanted something above the shoulders so that she can stop tying up her hair for school. I suggested the bob hairstyle to them and showed them a very nice photo of Dakota Fanning. They both loved it and off to the hairdresser's this morning. The photo above is the hair the lady trimmed off of Clara.

Two very satisfied customers and yes, we did bring the photo that inspired the haircut so that there will not be any miscommunication :)
The damage to the wallet? S$12 (US$9) for both of them!
