Halloween is finally here after 5 parties. We started the day with ballet. As it was Halloween, Sonya's teacher said that the girls could wear a fancy tutu to class. We brought one along for Clara and she too got wear it for her class.

Clara's teacher, Mrs Loring, got them to do Little Miss Muffet. These were the 3 initial spiders in the photo below while the rest of the class were Miss Muffets.

Then, the children got to choose whether they wanted to be a spider or Miss Muffet and this time, only Clara and Oliver wanted to be Miss Muffet.

In the end, they looked more like Mr and Mrs Muffet with a big bunch of spiders :)

Mrs Loring always has the best props to keep the children engaged class after class.

Time for Sonya's class with Ms Jen.

The girls started learning a new routine last week.

After a quick lunch, it was off to Gymnastic Academy of Boston for Party No. 6. It was quite interesting to see all the children in their Halloween costumes doing gymnastics.

Here's Sonya the Fairy.

And Clara the Ballerina.

More crafts to do and they never got tired of it!

The crazy fairy wings were getting in the way and Sonya decided to take them off so that she could do all the somersaults, hand stands, etc.

Sonya decided to show me that she can do a hand stand. I have never seen her do it before so I was impressed! It has almost been half a year since she has done any gymnastics. She still remembers how to do all the moves :)

Ballerina tried doing a backward roll and got stuck :)

We had a monster Halloween celebration that lasted 3 days. Sonya and Clara sure had a blast. I am just glad we are done with the costumes :)
