Took a drive up north yesterday and ended up at the Halibut Point State Park. Sonya and Clara took a nap in the car, tired after all that running around at the Easter Brunch earlier.

Sonya and Clara wore dresses to the Easter Brunch. Clara found the dress she was wearing "itchy" and took it off right after the brunch but Sonya insisted on keeping hers on. With such great weather and beautiful scenery, I managed to convince Clara to get back into her dress to take photos :)

Ask Clara and she will tell you that the best part of the trip was to be able to pick up the rocks on the ground and throw them into the water.

Sonya and Clara really enjoyed picnics and kept asking for more picnics. I had some homemade cookies with me and we had a cookie picnic while enjoying the great view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Clara approved :)

This little girl amazes me with her variety of expressions :)

Great photos spoilt by the cookie :)

Gross chocolate mouth!

There she goes again...

And again...

Someone created all these stacking rocks. I kept reminding Sonya and Clara not to knock the rocks over and guess what? I knocked a pile down right after I told her that. So much for setting a good example!

Clara just decided to lie down on Sonya.

Found some sea snails...

Just couldn't resist putting her hands into the cold water flowing down the slope towards the ocean.

One last photo of the quarry before dinner time...
