With Clara insisting more and more on feeding herself and making a mess while doing it, we drove all the way to IKEA this afternoon to get her the plastic IKEA bib with a huge "scoop" to collect all the food that did not make it into Clara's mouth. We tried putting on bibs for her when she was little but she always pulled it off. I thought now that she is a little older and understands what we say a lot more, she might actually wear it if we tell her that her food will not drop all over and dirty her clothes. Some food still dropped elsewhere but most of it fell into the "scoop" so it gets a thumbs up from me :) Less food wasted and less cleanup for mummy!
