

Clara is eating solids pretty comfortably now. She has now tried avocado (which she likes very much), sweet potato, carrots, rice, apple, oatmeal (she ate the Gerber premixed one with apple and banana!) and pork. I am going to try more vegetables, like sweet peas and spinach, next.
She is also getting pretty adventurous on the floor. Take a look for yourself :)
We got Sonya's blood test report yesterday. The doctor says she has a mild iron deficiency so she should eat more iron rich foods like green vegetables, raisins, and red meat. I bought a tub of hummus the other day and got some carrots, button mushrooms and celery. She happily dipped the raw vegetables into the hummus and ate quite a few but alas, it was only for 1 day :( She also did try spinach but it was only 1 leaf :( The good thing is that she loves tofu now.
