Play Date

Sonya had a play date at her preschool friend, Harold's house today. It was right after school and Harold's mum even made lunch. As it was the first time that Sonya went to his house, I went along just to be sure that she was okie. She was and they played till 3.30pm. Sonya didn't really want to come back. We invited Harold to our house so his mum will let us know when they are free to come.


Sonya was really tired after that and despite my attempts to keep her awake in the car, she fell asleep. I had no choice but to wake her up since I can't be carrying her and Clara together. She was really grouchy but she didn't want to sleep anymore. I got her to bake this christmas tree chocolate cake with me and then we decorated it with icing and edible paints. It is actually a kit from Crayola. I painted the one on the left and Sonya did the one on the right :)


It is still below freezing over here. Although there is heating in the house, it can still get pretty cold near the windows and doors. Sonya has been complaining of her feet being cold and so I bought her a new pair of slippers. Her old pair is just too small already.

Clara just loves Sonya. This morning, she almost fell asleep after a feeding at 6.30am but Sonya coughed and her head immediately popped up and tried to see where Sonya was. She didn't sleep after that and all of us woke up. See how easy Sonya can make her laugh and scream :)
