Took a trip down to Hort Park yesterday afternoon before the rain came. I was quite fascinated by the variety of plants and flowers that can actually grow in Singapore.

Sonya and Clara were, of course, more interested in the playground.

I managed to lure them away to see the butterfly garden and along the way, we saw a more local scarecrow :)

Unfortunately, the butterfly garden was closed but we did see a few outside. Sonya and Clara stood still like a statue with their arms and pointer finger out hoping that one of the butterflies would land on their fingers.

We managed our way up to the canopy walk and rewarded Sonya and Clara with a snack.

It started raining soon after and we didn't have the chance to complete the walk. Hopefully, the weather will be better today because we are going to try again today, with a picnic stop somewhere :)
