Sonya's painting got selected for the Morse School Art Show held at the Gallery 263 from 25 April - 2 May 2010. We went for the opening reception on 28 April.
I had no idea which of her painting was chosen and she didn't have any idea as well so I was very pleasantly surprised and proud of her work when I saw it in the gallery.
The art teacher told me that the kids were looking at Van Gogh's famous Sunflowers and then she placed some sunflowers in the middle of room and the kids just drew from them. Wow! Still life at 5 years old :) Very nice!

Did I mention that Sonya say she wants to be an artist when she grows up? Definitely better than a princess :)
