Cows and Ice-Cream

Justin was busy preparing for his thesis committee meeting tomorrow and so we were left to enjoy the warm weather by ourselves today. With temperature running close to 90F, ice-cream seemed to be the perfect option so we drove all the way to Richardson's Ice-Cream in Middleton. It was not an ice-cream place. They had their own dairy farm and mini-golf course.

After Sonya and Clara woke up from their afternoon nap in the car, we head over to see the cows first.

There were calfs - brown ones and black and white ones.

There was another area with calves too but they were all individually chained up to individual units. I thought they looked so pitiful.

Next we went to where the mummy cows were housed. I was not sure if it was something about the cows, the weather or the promise of ice-cream with good behavior but these two were so sweet to each other today.

How can I not buy them some ice-cream, right? One for myself as well of course :)
