Tuna Pizza

It has been a real visit-the-doctor week for us. Justin came down with fever last friday. I got it next. Before we knew it, Clara threw up big time and was down with a high fever on Monday night, peaking at 39.7C, for the next 2 - 3 days. Sonya was the only one left standing.

Sonya has reminded me once again in the past few days how fortunate I am to have someone like her who is very considerate, independent and always ready to help. While Clara and I stayed in bed, "drunk" from all that medication, she finished her 听写 preparation and other homework by herself. She didn't need any prompting in the mornings to wash up. She occupied herself by reading or drawing. She knows my routine by heart and readily helps around the house.

I have been feeling very bad that I have not been able to prepare her lunchbox for the past few days. So this morning, we did some pizza making together to bake a few healthy tuna pizza for lunch.

Thank you so much, Sonya, for just being who you are!
(I am still thinking of buying her a nice thank you gift.)

  1. Sonya is so nice. Even though she's young she's so considerate. I never forget when she was playing with some kids on the playground, and Bjarney called out that they were mean to her. The day after, Sonya came to Bjarney and said "Bjarney I'm sorry I made you feel bad yesterday". And nobody but me knew about this, so no adult could have asked her to do that.
